LINE COOK JOB DESCRIPTION

Quinn’s Hot Springs Resort in Paradise, Montana, is seeking a talented line cook with experience working the line during all service times and at all positions. We’re looking for a creative and highly driven individual who is willing to participate in preparing seasonal menus and new dishes as identified by the Executive and Sous Chefs. Quinn's is growing, and the right candidate will have the ability to continue to grow in the line position and expand their career opportunities. The successful candidate will assist the team on the line in both culinary and prep tasks while communicating with the Quinn’s kitchen team, the Executive Chef and Food and Beverage Senior Manager. We’re looking for a professional who is dedicated to food quality and sets high standards for their output. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES


•Works for both the events/banquet kitchen and/or the Harwood House Fine Dining Restaurant at the discretion of the Executive Chef.


•Takes direction from the General Manager, Senior Food and Beverage Manager, Executive Chef and Sous Chef.
•Helps maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen.


•Works the line skillfully in any position as directed by the Executive Chef.


•Makes sure the station assigned is clean, stocked, and ready to provide service under any and all conditions.
•Possesses the ability to work the line with any menu ranging from breakfast buffets to corporate lunch meetings with sandwiches to formal dinners with multi-course meals that are individually plated.


Education and Experience


•High school diploma or equivalent.


•Several years’ experience as a line cook in a busy fine dining environment.

SALARY


•Dependent upon experience.
