Vibrant and successful fine dining restaurant is looking for a creative, energetic career-oriented individual for our kitchen to work with our executive chef. You will be working in a first-class kitchen with all new equipment. We are a family business focused on professionalism and excellence looking for a candidate who wants to train under one of the top chefs in the valley and develop a reputation for themselves preparing upscale dishes with the best ingredients with a focus on local sources.

Demonstrate ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, coping with stressful situations with patience and a positive mental attitude
Motivated to learn, strives to understand basic culinary principles
Assist other kitchen staff members when needed
Ability to look ahead and communicate items needed to be ordered or prepped in advance
Competent to work sauté and grill, preferably with fine dining experience
Prep all food items in accordance to recipe and standards set by the Executive Chef
Read and prepare food orders in a timely manner and to set standards during service
Eye for plate presentation, good knife skills, clean and organized
Passionate about food as will be working with high end ingredients
Ability to follow recipes as everything is made from scratch, nothing prepackaged
Display a strong sense of urgency, strong attention to detail and to meet goals in a timely manner with the highest standards possible
Uncompromising desire to attain the highest levels of service and satisfaction possible
A desire to learn with the goal of becoming executive chef
