Local Financial Institute is seeking a New Account/Teller to join their growing team.
Primary responsibility:
-Open deposit accounts and related products following procedures for reviewing and approving/rejecting applications
-Close accounts as requested by customer
-Open, renew or redeem Certificates of Deposit
-Enter new account data and file maintenance into system
-Research and resolve customer inquiries
-Assist customers with routine transactions such as address changes or stop payments
-Assist customers with safe deposit box needs
-Process pay and receive transactions to include deposit, withdrawals and cashed checks
-Accept loan payments, payoffs and process loan inquiries
-Handle cash and all transactions with accuracy and within cash limit authority
-Balance cash drawer at end of shift, resolving outages
-Maintain knowledge of banking products and services
Skills & Qualifications:
-Prior Banking experience preferred
-Minimum of one year customer service experience is required
-Must be Bondable
-Computer proficiency
-May be required to occasionally lift/move up to 30 pounds.
-Provide exceptional customer service
-Greet customers and assist in answering incoming phone calls
-Good cash handling skills and abilities
