The Kootenai County Information Technologies Department is looking for a Specialist that will be working specifically with our Sheriff's Office to assist with technical support. THIS POSITION provides technical support to system users by installing, configuring, and monitoring the upgrade of technology systems and applications, debugs and maintains windows servers, personal computers and peripherals, mobile data and wireless equipment, other technology and information based systems specifically related to public safety functions. Works closely with system users to accomplish this overview.
Salary: $38,011 to $43,398 per year depending on experience

DO YOU QUALIFY?
Do you have an Associates degree or Applied Associates Degree or Certification from an accredited two-year college or professional/technical school or program in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or Information Technology?
Do you have a minimum of (2) years related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience?
Must have a valid drivers license and be insurable.
While not required, the following are favorable: Cisco Certifications, Microsoft Certifications, A+. Server+, and Security.
