3 Rivers Mental Health Center is actively recruiting for the position of Adult Targeted Mental Health Case Manager. This challenging and rewarding position is responsible for supporting adults with disabling mental illnesses maintain their independence in the community. Case Managers link and refer clients to community based social services; provide advocacy for their clients at all times; and support clients through the development of an individualized treatment plan in increasing their quality of life. 3 Rivers Mental Health Center is committed to a developmental path different model of conceptualizing adult mental illness. Requirements:

Applicants must have the knowledge and skills needed to effectively perform Case Management duties. Minimum qualifications for a Case Manager are:

1. Applicants who, as providers, consumers, or advocates of mental health services have developed the necessary skills, may be considered for employment as intensive case managers or;

2. A bachelor's degree in a human services field with cumulatively one year of experience working with individuals of any age with mental illnesses or;

3. Applicants with a Bachelors degree (or higher) not in a helping profession who, as providers, consumers, or advocates of mental health services have developed the necessary skills, may also be considered for employment as intensive case managers. The successful applicant must possess a valid drivers license and a licensed and insured vehicle.
