Petty Creek Ranch is a faith-based wilderness and Vocational experience program for at-risk teenage boys. We are looking for energetic individuals to work as youth mentors and wilderness expedition guides for the clients we serve. Primary duties will include reporting to the owners/program directors and therapists, being responsible for the safety and supervision of clients, teaching primitive living and outdoor skills, teaching pro-social skills and general coping skills, delivering academic curricula to assigned groups, administering/storing medications, transporting clients, and monitoring client phone calls. Other duties will include going camping and hiking, rafting, fishing, and many other outdoor activities. Experience with general riding/equestrian skills is a plus, but not required. Employees must be wiling to promote a Christian-culture, pass an FBI background check and pre-employment drug screening, as we are a drug and alcohol-free environment.
