We are looking for an organized and motivated individual to join our facility as an Assistant Warehouse Manager. The Assistant Warehouse Manager is responsible for ensuring inventory is processed, organized, and stored. The Assistant Manager will also package, scan, and prepare orders for delivery.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working on their feet and is experienced in inventory software and databases. The Assistant Manager will operate heavy machinery and drive delivery equipment.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage inventory accuracy through monitoring of daily warehouse activities, cycle counts and deliveries.

• Assist Warehouse Manager in scheduling warehouse staff in a manner to optimize pick-ups, deliveries and order processing while minimizing overtime.

• Assist Warehouse Manager in controlling the physical condition of the warehouse and delivery equipment, facilities, grounds, etc.

• Move inventory and materials across facilities.; Remove inventory from trucks or shipping and deliver to proper location on Resort property.

• Research inventory discrepancies utilizing shipping documents.

• Update logs and documentation for inventory processing.

• Participate in cycle counts and year-end inventories.

• Actively participate in order fulfillment process ensuring accurate pick, check, invoicing and shipping of all customer orders.

• Work in conjunction with resort departments to prioritize warehouse tasks and share resources.

• Ensure that all products are properly received and put away for proper location management and order fulfillment.

• Operate heavy machinery like forklifts to move or store inventory.

• Provide day-to-day guidance and oversight of Warehouse team members; actively promote, train, coach, and recognize performance.

• Complete all Warehouse projects as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work, preferred college degree

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience of warehouse/logistic center experience

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a manager

• Proven ability to lead and manage a team

• Ability to skillfully operate powered material handling equipment, preferred

• Physical ability to repeatedly lift and carry 50 pounds and to stand/walk for 6+ hours each day

• Proficient ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment while remaining organized and prioritizing workload throughout the day

• Has a friendly and professional manner under periods of high demands

• Valid Driver’s License with ability to meet company driving insurance policy

The position offered is a salaried seasonal position located in Greenough, MT. The Resort at Paws Up offers great benefits including:

SALARY: $42,000.00 Annually
