The Company is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to assist our office in the state smoothly and efficiently. This is a great opportunity to assist our employees with diverse projects and provide general administrative support. The candidate MUST have: administrative skills; communication & collaboration; organization skills; writing; social work skills.
We’re a small non profit social service organization of less than 100 employees, which means there’s lots of room for growth and learning opportunities. Our organization provides young adults with a pathway to be re-integrated into society, pursuing a new and productive life after being released from incarceration. They will learn life skills; be employed; pursue long term education; remain off the streets and out of a life of crime; and lead a rewarding life. This is being done through partnerships with community-based organizations, DA’s offices, law enforcement, and the court systems.
Our vision is to reduce this recidivism while ensuring these young adults are placed on a path to pursue careers, not simply provided jobs. To stop this revolving re-arrest door and help those who have been released by providing them real hope, hope in themselves, and to reduce confidence issues that have developed due to their confinement.
