Recycling Works is seeking a self-motivated, details-oriented, team-player, problem solving, Operations Manager, with a good mind for customer service to help run Recycling Works from July 24 to October 8, while our ongoing Operations Manager is out of office. Your workday has some scheduling flexibility but is essentially 9:00am to 4pm six and a half hours per day, with half hour lunch. A successful candidate may be invited to continue part time after the structured work period.
Recycling Works is a not for profit organization tasked with recycling glass and green waste in Missoula. All profits go to support homeless families. The organization is now nine months old, has grown to over 230 customers and is in rapid growth mode. We want you to help found this dynamic Missoula institution. Working as the temporary Operations Manager at Recycling Works, you would be responsible for: bookkeeping (which we can teach), billing and collecting from customers, inputting addresses and notes to our route computer, coordinating various customer issues via email and phone, and other small-business responsibilities as they arise. You will be part of a smart, positive, can-do team of volunteers and one great professional driver.
