Job Title: Coffee Packaging Professional PART TIME (2X 8hr shifts a week)

Hunter Bay Coffee was founded in 1991 in Missoula, Montana. For over two decades we've been roasting 100% organic, specialty coffee for our customers. Hunter Bay is one of the Pacific Northwest's finest coffee roasters, with a deep passion for coffee and community. We're a small crew of coffee enthusiasts who spend our days sourcing, roasting, and blending some of world's highest quality beans. Our business is dedicated to craft, with a high-functioning, low-impact roasting facility and ambitious environmental goals.
Hunter Bay Coffee is seeking a self-driven member to join our team of coffee professionals as a coffee packaging professional. Please do not apply for this job unless you are able to work for at least 6 months. We are not willing to train short term employment.
Responsibilities:
Package specialty coffee for stores, cafes, and restaurants in Missoula and W. Montana
Take inventory of in-house coffee stock and pull orders for the following day
Keep work area and containers clean
Prepare orders for delivery driver
Exude a friendly, driven, and positive attitude towards customers and co-workers
Share our passion for the specialty coffee industry - production, roasting, and cupping
Organize warehouse and other work areas
Be part of the team and have a cooperative mentality
Follow company health standards and practices
Qualifications:
Retail or warehouse experience (coffee industry experience is a plus)
Applicant is highly detail oriented, organized and responsible
Must have experience with record keeping software and microsoft based business applications (Excel, Microsoft Access)
Ability to focus on repetitive production style work. Packaging coffee can be tedious!
Time off is available with two weeks written notice
2 days a week , 8am-4pm ( 30min unpaid lunch and breaks)
Valid driver's license
Reliable transportation (roastery located in Lolo, 15 minutes south of Missoula)
Hard-working, self-motivated, adaptable
Able to lift up to 40 lbs
Drug screening is possible during the hiring process
Compensation: $12.00 per hour - Paychecks go out every other Friday.
