High quality manufacturer in Bozeman is looking for a Shipping & Receiving Supervisor. This working supervisor will direct and coordinate activities of the shipping & receiving team in picking product and preparing it for same day shipping both nationally and internationally.
Responsibilities include:
Work with the team utilizing Lean 5S to create a continuously improving, clean and well-organized work environment.
Lead daily management meetings ensuring department metrics are being met.
Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules and expedite workflow.
Assign duties and supervise work.
Interview and hire new employees; conduct annual performance reviews.
Work with other managers to ensure coordination of warehouse activities.
Ensure correct shipment of international orders and hazardous material orders.
Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field preferred plus 3 years experience employee management, manufacturing shipping / receiving and experience with domestic and international shipping processes.
