Job Title: Guest Experience Coordinator --- STARTING JUNE 10TH ---
Under Canvas Mission: To elevate the guest experience above and beyond the expected camp atmosphere; to create MAGIC.
Outcomes:
GEC will implement and oversee all onsite activities and experiences to ensure a magical guest experience.
Guest activities will be proactively planned, entertaining, and well attended.
Communication about experiential activities will be robust to guests and staff so that a coordinated effort is achieved throughout camp to inform guests of available activities.
Represent Under Canvas in a very forward-facing role, interacting with guest regularly, with a big energetic smile!
Activities:
Review incoming guests for check-in that day
Morning "walk arounds" to interact with guests to ensure their day is off to a good start
Confirm all daily on-site activities that make up the camp's "experiential calendar"
Evening "walk arounds" to interact with guests to ensure their day is ending in a near-perfect way
Occasional town runs to assist guests in purchasing items they may need (within reason) to enhance their stay
Creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere around camp
Work with third party vendors to ensure a weekly experience calendar is in place, including but not limited to, wellness, yoga, outdoor education, music, and art.

Local tourism knowledge (best hikes, best activities, best restaurants off-camp, etc.)
Logistically and operationally minded
Superior guest service experience
Ability to assist camp in all facets during any potential down-time
Communication and coordination skills with both guests, local staff, vendors, and corporate departments
