As our Accounts Payable Manager, you will oversee the bank's accounts payable activities and assist branches and departments with accounts payable processes and procedures. You will also perform higher-level accounts payable related projects, accounts payable reporting, complex reconciliations, and research and analysis of accounting functions:

A. Supervise Accounts Payable Functions

Supervise and develop a competent accounts payable staff.

Assists with performance of Accounts Payable functions.

Oversee accounts payable functions such as prioritizing invoices and vouchers and coding by general ledger expense and cost center, creating and maintaining vendor records, and leading other accounts payable functions as necessary.

Oversee and review payments.

Oversee vendor maintenance.

Assure accuracy and expertise in Accounts Payable system.

Act as an administrator of the Concur Expense system to include updating and maintaining employee access, reviewing, and processing batches, and performing other administrator functions as necessary.

Assist branches and departments with accounts payable processes and procedures.

B. Audits and Regulatory

Assist with accounts payable audit requests. ▪

Maintain accounts payable filing and record administration. ▪

Perform complex accounting reconcilements.

C. Financial Analysis

Assist with analysis of bank financial statements.

Process bank holding company (and other companies) and subsidiary expenses.

Research and problem solve accounting variances.

Provide back-up assistance to other members of the accounting department.

Assist with accounting projects.

D. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements4-year college degree (accounting, finance or related) or 2 years relevant college coursework and 2 years' experience in accounting or related field - or equivalent combination of education & experienceEducation and Experience Preferences4-year college degree (accounting, finance or related) and 2 years' experience in accounting or related field - or equivalent combination of education & experienceExperience with bank accounting software and system integrationKnowledge of processes and regulations governing accounting in financial institutionsBanking experienceOpportunity Bank of Montana is an equal opportunity employer.
