The Montana State Hospital (MSH) in Warm Springs provides inpatient psychiatric treatment for adults with serious mental illness. MSH is the only public psychiatric hospital in Montana that serves people admitted from communities across the state. Behavioral Health Care Planners provide assessment, treatment planning, and supportive individual follow up to persons who are seriously mentally ill and are hospitalized. Provides case coordination/management and development of treatment plans and reviews. Develops and implements discharge plans. Acts to ensure functional communication of needs between the patient, the hospital, the family/guardian, and community providers/resources.
