Actalent is Hiring for a Sr. Civil Engineer/Manager!This opportunity will be primarily focused out of their Lincoln, NE office location. Description:Sr. Engineer will assist in mentoring, coaching and training staff to ensure continuous development of bench strength within the team.
Strong interpersonal skills as well as written and verbal communication abilities are essential.
The ability to earn trust and respect and persuade and guide people to solutions that best meet the client needs and the firm’s business objectives
This position is viewed as an active engineering role involving planning, design, construction administration, oversight, management, and direct involvement in the Lincoln office management/oversite as well.
-Project EngineeringPlanning and technical analysis
Technical writing
Design and construction documents using Autocad Civil3D.
Opinions of probable construction cost
Construction administration
Project Management:Project budgeting, review, and contract proposals
Project correspondence and client relationship
Monitor and review of budgets and invoicing
Scheduling and assignment of resources
Quality assurance/quality control on project
Skills:Civil 3d, Design, Land development, professional engineer, civil engineering, Project management, Engineering managementAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Must hold a professional engineering license
6+ years of recent experience in the civil engineering space
experience using AutoCAD civil 3d is a big plus
