What you will do:As a Fitness Instructor with St. Vincent's Health System-AL, you will have the opportunity to provide instruction on physical fitness as it relates to all aspects of general health and wellness.You will:
Design fitness programs for various patient populations.
Organize and instructs exercise classes for all fitness levels. Ensures that all participants are properly trained on the use of the facility's exercise equipment.
Develop and market general health and wellness programs.
Present educational lectures/programs throughout the community.
Oversee and ensure appropriate use and maintenance of Fitness Center equipment.
What you will need:Licenses/Certifications/Registration:
Required Credential(s):
BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
Diploma
High school diploma or GED required
Bachelors degree preferred
Preferred Experience:
Bachelor in Exercise Science
Background in Physical Therapy setting preferred
