We are looking for a reliable strong lead cook with an open schedule for an expanding fast casual company in Lincoln. Responsibilities will include prep work as well as working on/leading a high/medium volume line in both a restaurant AND food truck setting with some inventory reporting/control. Set up/tear down and light clean up. It is imperative that applicant is able to self manage and know his/her way around a kitchen. It is also important applicant be comfortable working in small spaces at times as well as possessing the ability to quickly and efficiently operate a full grill. There is room for advancement for the right candidate that posesses the right talent, ability, and drive. Applicant must have previous managerial, supervisorial, or leadership experience OR proven ability to delegate and control a sometimes high stress/high volume kitchen. Must also be willing and able to produce a consistent product while adhering to company specifications. Must minimally have a current level 3 permit from LCHD or willing to obtain one prior to hire. Need to be willing to work days and evenings, some weekends. Hours can differ. We may be able to work with your schedule, depending on conflicts. Must be able to think on your feet. Pay is dependent on experience. This position is available immediately and will quickly transition to full time as training commences.
