We are an established practice seeking a full time experienced Dental Assistant to join our caring team. We are looking for someone who has a positive attitude and growth oriented outlook on life and loves people! We don't sell dentistry, we treat people! We utilize Eaglesoft software and digital imaging.
Candidates will be expected to:
-Prepare exam rooms for appointments by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready for an appointment
-Assist during procedures by passing instruments and anticipating needs throughout the appointment
-Work cheerfully alongside fellow employees
-Take and process X-rays of patients
-Complete lab work under the direction of the dentist
-Greet patients as they arrive and schedule patient appointments
-Take billing and insurance details from patients
-Maintain and order necessary supplies
-Advise patients on recommended oral hygiene
-Update and maintain client's dental records
-Handle general clinic administrative work and maintenance of exam rooms and the dental office
