We are an industry-leading landscape and lighting company seeking a creative, motivated, hard-working, and efficient leader for our Landscape Crews. A Foreman for Tailored Landscapes must be able to plan, oversee, and execute all types of landscaping projects, hardscape installation including flagstone, planting, mulching, pavers, etc. Expectations include participation with labor, organization and maintenance of day-to-day business practices in the office and in the field.
Job Responsibilities (vary with the seasons)
Direct leadership for the landscape crew
Be the “on-site” contact for clients
Assist with project management and organization
Coordinate projects, work site, and crew
Maintain accurate project paperwork, records, and receipts
Direct project phases in proper order
Conduct final inspection upon project completion
Continuously improve knowledge, education, and industry awareness
Requirements
Have at least 2 years landscape foreman experience or 3 years landscape installation experience
Be able to read, understand, and follow landscape design drawings
Have a valid driver’s license and excellent driving record
Have good knowledge of plant materials, and working knowledge of necessary equipment and tools
Excellent communication skills are a must
Professional appearance, clean-cut personality, proven organizational skills, and willing to work in a team environment
Must be comfortable leading and giving direction to a team.
Education
Horticulture, landscaping, or landscape design experience or education desired
Landscape installation background helpful
Leadership experience desired
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
QuickBooks knowledge is a plus
Welding or building construction experience ideal, but not required
