The Marketing Coordinator position provides quality support and superior customer service by developing and maintaining marketing materials and campaigns for the companies of Telesis, Inc. The Marketing Coordinator understands business issues and opportunities in the context of the requirements, and recommends solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.
Essential Functions
Assists in the designing, creating and delivering of digital and print marketing materials and campaigns that support the growth and expansion of company products, services and events
Compose and publish content for the companys social media accounts; foster a positive, trusting dialogue with the public
Capture marketing analytics and work with Business Data Analyst to establish and track actionable metrics
Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the departments activities
Write/edit marketing literature (articles, brochures, blogs, training materials, scripts, etc.)
Assist in the layout and design of marketing materials (posters, menus, brochures and other point-of-sale items)
Assist in the managing and execution of promotional events
Protect the companys brand and maintain the confidentiality of the companys proprietary and sensitive information
Other duties as assigned by the Marketing Manager
Competencies
Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and senior business leaders.
Basic experience in all Microsoft applications.
Basic experience with internet web browsers and social media platforms, specifically Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Untapped.
Basic experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premier and Adobe Acrobat.
Extensive knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite software, specifically InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
Strong language skills: copywriting, proofreading and the ability to communicate complex ideas
Natural sense of customer service and what it means to exceed expectations
Creative and technical understanding of good design, layout, writing and photography
Self-motivated and well-organized; have the ability to work in a team environment, meet deadlines and balance multiple priorities at once
Basic experience with a camera
Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on social media marketing
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, scanners and copiers.
Physical Demands
While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee is frequently required to walk or stand. The employee is occasionally required to bend, twist or reach as well as lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision preferred and the ability to adjust focus between multiple tasks.

Required Education and Experience
An associates degree in Marketing or similar field with 2-4 years experience
Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field with 2-4 years experience
