The Marketing Coordinator position provides quality support and superior customer service by developing and maintaining marketing materials and campaigns for the companies of Telesis, Inc. The Marketing Coordinator understands business issues and opportunities in the context of the marketing requirements and recommends solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.
Essential Functions
Designs, creates, and develops digital and print marketing materials that support the growth and expansion of company products, services, and events
Creates and distributes marketing literature (articles, brochures, blogs, training materials, posters, menus, etc.)
Utilizes a variety of skills such as photography, videography, and digital design to create brand specific content
Coordinates the company's social media accounts and establishes a clear and consistent voice across all social media platforms
Creates and publishes social media content
Utilizes social media as a customer service tool by responding consistently to both positive and negative customer feedback
Manages company website
Captures marketing analytics and works with Business Data Analyst to establish and track actionable metrics
Undertakes daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department's activities
Assists in the managing and execution of promotional events
Protect the company's brand and maintain the confidentiality of the company's proprietary and sensitive information
Other duties as assigned by the President
Competencies
Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and senior business leaders.
Basic experience in all Microsoft applications
Experience with internet web browsers and social media platforms, specifically Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Untapped.
Basic experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premier and Adobe Acrobat
Extensive knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite software, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
Strong language skills: copywriting, proofreading and the ability to communicate complex ideas
Natural sense of customer service and what it means to exceed expectations
Creative and technical understanding of good design and layouts
Self-motivated and well-organized; have the ability to work in a team environment, meet deadlines and balance multiple priorities at once
Strong photography and videography skills
The ability to develop web pages and website content
Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies and their potential application on social media marketing
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, scanners, and copiers.
Physical Demands
While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee is frequently required to walk or stand. The employee is occasionally required to bend, twist or reach as well as lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision preferred and the ability to adjust focus between multiple tasks.

Required Education and Experience
An associate degree in Marketing or similar field with 2-4 years' experience
Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field with 2-4 years' experience
