Starting Pay $15.00/Hr$1.00 increase after 6 months and another $1.00 increase after 1 year.
Job Function:
Perform general assembly operations on sub-assemblies and trailers; and operate various equipment as needed.
Essential Functions:
Drill, rivet, huck, caulk, build fasten and assemble.
Place parts and assemblies in jigs and fixtures.
Operate fabrication equipment as assigned.
Perform preventative maintenance to keep tools and equipment in good working condition.
Practice good housing keeping and keep work area organized.
Inspect work for quality and workmanship.
Miscellaneous duties as assigned by team leader or supervisor.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Ability to read and interpret blue prints, specifications, and trailer schedules.
Knowledge to operate machines, hand tools, tape measures, cranes, and other equipment.
Ability to work with general supervision and make basic quality decisions.
Must be able to work with other employees.
Prior manufacturing experience helpful.
Ability to learn job and be fully competent within three months.
Equipment Used:
Various hand tools and specialized manufacturing equipment.
Working Conditions:
Ability to work in a standing position and walk around objects and equipment 100% of the time.
Ability to bend, stoop, crawl around equipment, and crawl in and out of tubs and trailers and to work from ladders in tight congested areas.
Ability to carry objects weighting up to 50 lbs. for a distance of 10-50 feet. Objects over 50lbs, use two people.
