Heartland Motors Inc. Sales and Service is an auto dealership and full service auto shop and is currently looking for an Automotive Technician to add to its team. Applicant will need at least 2 years experience or Associate degree in Automotive technology. In this role, the successful candidate will perform car, truck, diesel repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards, run diagnostics and work closely with other team members to meet company goals. Responsibilities and duties:
-Perform Minor and major repairs on cars and trucks
-Conduct maintenance, including inspection, tire rotations and oil changes
-Maintain parts inventory and cleanliness in the shop
-Collaborate with repair team to diagnose problems with vehicles and plan repairs
-Perform diagnostic test on cars and trucks
-Maintain accurate records on each repair performed
Qualifications
-Associates or similar degree in automotive/diesel technology
-2 plus years experience as an Automotive Technician
-Must have own tools
-Aiblity to pass a background check and drug test
-ASE Diesel Certification an asset
-Must have valid drivers license
Full timePay depends upon experience $36,000 - $70,000 yr
