have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next
lower grade GS-09, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of
specialized experience includes working a full range of database
management concept:, operations, design principles, methodologies,
and approaches used in designing, developing, testing, implementing,
managing, and maintaining database systems that meet current and
future organizational business requirements; database management
principles and policies to include defining data polices and
standards, planning for the efficient use of data, coordinating data
structures, and performing logical database designs; database
management systems to store, organize, and access information in a
database including data management and the functions of controlling
the acquisition, analysis, storage, retrieval, and distribution of
data AND IT-related experience which demonstrates the (four)

EDUCATION: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of

in one or more of the fields identified above and required the

ACTIVE DUTY SERVICE MEMBERS: The VOW Act requires agencies to
treat active duty service member as veterans, disabled veterans, and

assuming the service member is otherwise eligible. A "certification"
letter should be on letterhead of the appropriate military branch of
