We are looking for an Assistant Teacher for our Toddler (1 1/2 to 3 year olds) Room to start immediately. You will be working with a Lead Teacher and an additional Assistant Teacher with 18 children enrolled in the classroom. The hours are 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday with an hour unpaid break. Your duties will include (but are not limited to) the daily care of the children (teaching, diapering/toileting, napping, meals, outside time, reading, singing, gross motor time, etc), cleaning of the classroom and lunch area, and assisting the Lead Teacher in anyway needed. We will educate you on the Montessori Method and we prefer that you have at least one year experience working with children in a group setting. We are looking for a kind and hard working individual that is very reliable.
