Description
Robert Half Technology is scouting out talented Desktop Support Technicians who are able to relay difficult technical information to non-technical users in an easily understandable and concise format. If you are an articulate problem solver who loves to work in a challenging and positive environment, this may be the Desktop Support Technician role for you. This Desktop Support Analyst role is long-term temporary-to-full-time in nature and is located in the Omaha, area.

Your responsibilities in this role
- Provide support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems
- Support, examine, and repair computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals
- Settle computer problems, and offer suggestions on appropriate action/solutions
- Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities
- hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors
- Administer computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Interact regularly and effectively with ticket submitters
Requirements
- Desktop support or related experience
- Citrix experience required
- Strong familiarity with MS Windows 10
- Microsoft SharePoint experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of VMware
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure manuals
