The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, with degree preferred in Computer Science or Information technology systems security or related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in IT cyber security/information security/architecture
  • Proven leader with 7+ years of experience in engaging, leading, developing and managing teams
  • Demonstrated capabilities with executive level communication, presentations and report writing
  • Expert level competency in cyber security threats and mitigation strategies
  • Experience in leading and participating in incident response exercises
  • Knowledge of Information technology infrastructure library (ITIL) with respect to security administration and information technology governance in a multi-platform environment.
  • Experience in establishing cybersecurity and risk metrics for reporting.
  • Knowledge of Information risk concepts and principles and relating business needs to security controls
  • Knowledge of the principles, practices, theories, and concepts of information security related to network, workstations, servers, and applications
  • Must be a team-oriented individual who works well with others and strives towards the group's overall success.
  • Demonstrated management skills, e.g., budget development and administration, policy development and implementation, staff administration, staff coaching, training and development
  • Strong knowledge of Cyber Security technologies, including but not limited to Access Management, Endpoint Protection, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, DNS Security, Log Correlation, Network Analyzers, Email Security, and URL Filters


Desired:
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification
  • Knowledge and experience with NIST cybersecurity framework
  • ITIL or COBIT certified
  • Past experience in the power or manufacturing industries
  • Knowledge or experience with NERC, PCI, HIPAA compliance
