Description:


  • Financial services experience would be good but not necessary

  • This individual will be primarily responsible for partnering with a Sr. Project Manager and working to create and refine project plans and a variety of other project related deliverables.

  • Should be articulate and feel comfortable speaking with clients and leadership.

  • Looking for someone with strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information

  • Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes

  • Liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives

  • Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management

  • Help prepare budgets

  • Analyze risks and opportunities

  • Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise

  • Work with the Sr. Project Manager to eliminate blockers

  • Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures

  • Issue all appropriate legal paperwork (e.g. contracts and terms of agreement)

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports

  • Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests

  • Construction Project Manager/Estimator Professional Characteristics Highly organized, self-motivated individual that can set goals for self and others, in addition to being punctual and accountable, and able to accomplish tasks with a given deadline High attention to detail with ability to recognize discrepancies Ability to assess and prioritize multiple tasks, projects and demands Effective oral and written communication skills along with interpersonal skills needed to work with diverse personalities Team player with positive attitude who will contribute to building a positive team environment Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Core Responsibilities Collaborate with and maintain good working relationship with owner and architect, subcontractors, suppliers and members of the project team Review submittals and plans for accuracy Procure subcontractors and materials Management of submittals, RFIs, and change orders Maintain project records and documentation Deliver project according to schedule Maintain safety standards in all aspects of each project Manage project budgets and analyze job costs Resolve issues and/or disputes throughout project Regularly communicate with superintendent for daily updates and adherence to schedule Perform takeoffs, prepare cost estimates/budgets and write proposals Management of pay applications Coordinate weekly on-site meetings with superintendent, subcontractors, owners and/or architects and engineers Qualifications and Requirements: 3-5 years experience in commercial construction, project management and estimating Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project and Office 365 Experience with ProCore, Submittal Exchange, iSqFt preferred Job Type: Full-time Benefits:
