The incumbent will pursue fairly independent research without day-to-day supervision. In addition, the incumbent will participate in teaching of basic principles of safety regulation and good laboratory practice to graduate students and research assistants.Required QualificationsPh.D. and/or M.D., (including those conferred outside of U.S.) in the field of Biology.Supplemental QualificationsSubstantial experience in cell biology, animal handling and molecular biology.Ability to prepare scientific manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals. Knowledge of basic principles of various common equipment used in the biology laboratory. Able to conduct independent research without day-to-day supervision of the principal investigator.
