Position Summary:
Identify, analyze, and optimize processes within an organization to improve efficiency, product quality, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction. They are subject matter experts on key processes and systems and use continuous improvement techniques to improve them. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
Streamline processes, improve business performance, and become established as the go-to analytical person for the organization.
Recognize process improvement opportunities as well as design quality control programs that rely on standard Lean Six Sigma statistical methods to ensure that processes deliver sustainable results.
Focus on statistical tools and analysis techniques to improve processes within an organization.
Development and use of tools and methodologies to improve processes, thus reducing defects and errors, minimizing variation, and increasing quality and efficiency.
Responsible for developing plant performance data for the purpose of prioritizing the plant improvement efforts.
Organize and lead Kaizen problem solving events.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Technical and Production Experience in a world class food manufacturing facility.
Lean manufacturing, SQF, personal safety and sanitation experience is a must.
Has experience with computer applications, including Outlook, SAP, MS Word, and Excel.
At least 5 years managerial or supervisory experience in a process driven food manufacturing facility.
Ability to work Monday-Friday day shift with the flexibility to cover some evening, overnight and weekend shifts as needed.
