Our business is growing fast and we are currently seeking a talented Project Manager / Project Engineerto join our team.

TITLE:

Project Manager

LOCATION:

Omaha, NE

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage projects from inception to completion on multiple large scale projects, $1MM - $15MM in value
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables in support of the business objectives
  • Develop full scale project plans and associated communication documents
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and senior management in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Assess needs for additional resources or consultants and make the appropriate recruitment as required during the project life-
  • cycle
  • Secure proposals and quotes that meet client standards for budgetary purposes
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devise contingency plans
  • Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved third parties throughout the project life-cycle
  • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management

Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or other related field or relevant and equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years in mission critical or industrial facilities project management, including upgrades, retrofits or new builds.
  • Candidate must be technically proficient in planning and scheduling, and exhibit excellent organizational skills.
  • Candidate must possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Candidate must have a disciplined approach to managing task assignments. People skills, good judgment, and flexibility are
  • critical to this position.
  • Knowledge of construction planning for mechanical or electrical systems required. Building controls, fire systems, security
  • systems, experience is preferred.
  • Candidate will be able to work cooperatively with internal administration groups, and to deal directly with customers and
  • contractors to reach mutually acceptable terms and conditions.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Word and Outlook
  • Knowledge of scheduling software, MS Project or Primavera preferred
  • Knowledge of Procore, Timberline or other project management software preferred
  • Travel as needed based on client / project needs
