Assist in providing food and nutrition therapy to patients of the organization by following prescribed diet orders, ensuring compliance, and offering support to the food service operations.

Required Qualifications:
â¢Minimum of 18 years of age required.
â¢High school education or equivalent required.
â¢Minimum one year education in nutrition OR equivalent combination of education/experience healthcare food service experience combined (one year of education equals one year of experience) required.
â¢Ability to pass the Douglas County Food Handlers test within 60 days of hire or transfer date and maintain biannually required.
Preferred Qualifications:
â¢Healthcare food service and/or customer service experience preferred.
â¢One year education in nutrition preferred.
â¢Knowledge of therapeutic diets preferred.
