We pay $17/HR plus a potential $3,000 - $4,000 bonus end of year (not including tips!)

Seasonal Employment. From May 2020 – December 31st.

Brief Description of the work we do:

Ton’s Hauling provides moving and junk removal services. About 70% of our work is hauling away old furniture/appliances like couches, mattresses, dressers, refrigerators, washers & dryers etc. We go inside pretty much anywhere inside a home to remove these items, from the garage, upstairs, mainfloor and the dreaded basement.

We also pick up furniture for donation and sometimes find good furniture worth saving that we bring to a storage facility to list for sale.

We are a small company, of only 3-4 employees with great reviews and we want to keep it that way. We are willing to pay the rate we do to ensure we have the right movers.

What’s Expected:

Ability to work long hours, When necessary. (some days we work 12 hours but not usual)

Comfortable driving a 16’ moving truck

Valid driver’s License with a good driving record.

Looking for a strong and careful mover.

Experience preferred: How to use box dollies, appliance dollies, four wheelers, hump straps and how to wrap furniture pads around furniture to prevent damage.

Calling every customer before heading over to their residence.

Take photos of furniture and send to Manager for every donation pick up.

Starting pay is $17/HR and if you don’t get Three strikes you’ll receive a $3,000-$4,000 bonus at the end of your seasonal employment.

Strikes include:

Showing up late to work. (one strike)

Missing a day of work without requesting 3 days in advance. (one strike)

Calling in early without valid reason. (1-2 strike)

No call no show (2-3 strikes)

Getting a bad review from a customer. (2-3 strikes)

Damaging Customer’s furniture or property (2-3 strikes)

Stealing from the company; pocketing cash, property, furniture or donation items. (3 Strikes)

Strikes may also end up in early termination… obviously

Hiring Process:

1.) Facetime phone interview.

2.) 1-2 work-day interviews. You’ll be on the job, paid cash and evaluated to see if you’re a good fit for the company. You’ll work with the owner first day, and the lead mover will work with you next day. Getting to know our next daily moving partner is crucial!
