About the Company: Linden Tree Landscaping and Lawn Care is a privately-owned business that believes in quality, hard work, and taking care of people. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team!

Overview of the Position: This is a part-time position with estimate of 10 - 15 hours per week required. Hours are extremely flexible and can be worked from home or other remote location. The right candidate will work closely with the owners to drive positive growth and contribute to the overall culture of the business.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Maintain accounting records and QuickBooks. Activities to include:

o Monthly reconciliations of checking and credit card accounts

o Import charges and code appropriately

o Paying bills/vendors and recording in QuickBooks

o Record recurring journal entries

o Maintain a balance sheet and income statement

o Track outstanding receivables and assist with identification of and initial correspondence to delinquent customers

o Sharing insights and trends

2. Hiring assistant. Activities to include:

o Maintaining job postings on-line and on social media

o First response to online applicants (with a pre-defined list of questions “ i.e. valid drivers license, own car/reliable transportation, prior experience, desired wage)

o Assist with initial phone interview at times

3. Managing mail, email, written and electronic correspondence, and filing of documents

4. Ensure licenses, permits, and required certifications are in place and remain current

5. Assist with input and maintenance of payroll

o Work with ADP to add new employees and relevant info. as required

o Answering payroll questions from employees

6. Assist with employee motivation

o Tracking performance indicators (to be jointly defined)

o Help define and execute on rewards or performance awards“ i.e. Gift cards, cash, gas cards, food, etc.

o Assist with the organization of agendas/talking points for employee meetings

7. Customer relations

o Call KEY customers for regular check in

o Manage incoming customer concerns and route appropriately to the owners

o Collect and escalate customer issues to the owners

8. Light marketing

o Define and manage social media presence

o Responding to Next Door Neighbor requests

o Posting/advertising on Next Door Neighbor

o Editing/drafting flyers and basic advertising materials as needed

o Assist in development and execution of marketing ideas

Requirements:

1. Laptop or personal computer

2. Access to a printer

3. Prior QuickBooks experience is required
