Modis is seeking a Systems Engineer who will be a part of a team designing, provisioning, and maintaining an Azure cloud and Windows Server infrastructure along with assisting with web application and development operations. This is truly a jack of all trades role who will constantly be busy and will have visibility across the entire organization. Required:
Work closely with product development team to understand needs
Recommend, plan, and implement Azure services and/or premise hosted Windows Server infrastructure for products and services
Design and deploy software and data integration solutions using Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Queries, SSIS, PowerShell, and/or C#
Monitor and maintain Azure web application infrastructure
Create and follow system related processes
Participate in security risk analysis, vulnerability assessments, control design, evidence collection, system hardening, and risk mitigation using Tugboat Logic, OWASP ZAP, and other tools.
Plan, maintain, and test business continuity and disaster recovery solutions
Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, scheduled tasks, SQL Jobs, and proprietary tools. Identify tools and techniques to optimize tasks.
Deploy, backup/restore, and manage SQL Server databases
Troubleshoot Azure, Windows Server, and software service issues
Work with team to select tools and implement dev-ops solutions including continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD)
