Job Description

Bluestem Health is looking for a Medical Assistant to join our team of professionals. This is a direct patient care position in a primary care office. This is a full-time position and includes insurance benefits, competitive pay, and more! The hours of this position are

Primary responsibilities include:

• Greet Patients
• Bring patients to Room
• Start visit in Electronic Medical Record
• Collect vital signs
• Enter information into medical record
• Complete Orders once provider finishes with the patient
• Assist provider as needed
• Complete forms as required
• Assistance with clinical exams and procedures.
• Basic diagnostic and screening procedures, treatments, specimen collections, etc.
• Prepare rooms, stocking of rooms.
• Other related clinical and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Completion of Medical Assisting program and must have or be able to obtain Medication Aide License through the Nebraska Medication Aide Registry
• CPR Certified
• Strong Computer Skills

Preferred (but not required) qualifications:

• Previous Pediatric clinic or office experience
• Demonstrated experience with any EHR software
• Certified Medical Assistant
