Join our company and be part of an innovative team that’s First in Food.POSITION SUMMARY: Floor person is responsible for keeping production floor and drain clean of egg.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Removes egg from the production floor and floor drains, puts it in designated inedible buckets.

Collects the inedible buckets on the designated inedible cart.

Empties inedible buckets in to inedible totes.

Interacts with department personnel to communicate issues.

Labels inedible totes, wraps and uses pallet jack to transport to designated area.

Adheres to safe work practices, follows GMP’s, maintains sanitary conditions and ensures that product quality is maintained. Reports to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety.

Adheres to all safety policies and procedures.

Perform other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Specific skills and abilities required that are not included in other sections:

Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.

Ability to safely lift 50lbs.

Must be able to bend, stoop or kneel, reach and grasp.

Ability to climb and move above, below and in to tight spaces

Must be able to obtain and maintain a company pallet jack license.

Ability to work holidays, weekends and extended hours as needed.

Experience with pallet jack preferred.

Prior manufacturing experience preferred.

Ability to communicate effectively with department personnel.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in oral form.
