Applications Manager (Corporate) is responsible for administration, maintenance, and managing support escalations of assigned applications. This position requires process driven technical knowledge as well as data and analytical skills. This position will support all areas of Corporate including Legal, Compliance, and Human Resources. The Applications Manager will work in a cross-functional team environment and have the ability to collaborate effectively to implement and maintain solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Perform Administration, maintenance and updates of assigned application platforms as well as managing defects, enhancements and escalation of support incidents.
  • Manage vendor and internal relationships within projects and day to day operations for the applications.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders across business units to support projects, initiativesand requests.
  • Provide assistance to other IT teams as part of escalations or projects.
  • Manage release process, testing and communication for assigned application platform.
  • Correct existing process in place to support sustainable and flexible architecture and environments.
  • Creates process documentation, procedures and policies. Keeps documentation up to date and works with IT teams and assigned business stakeholders to address concerns and maintain dictated standards and policies.
  • Facilitates change management processes, including the development and execution of test scripts, communication plans, implementation plans, and rollback plans.
  • Assist in providing training for other IT teams and business users.
  • Follows all organizational systems, programs, training, policies, and procedures as required and complies with relevant legal mandates. Seeks guidance as necessary.
  • Supports and participates in the safety program, both for self-protection and the protection of other employees, by reading and abiding by all requirements in the Injury and Illness Prevention Program (I2P2).
  • Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical and professional manner.
  • Must be able to fulfill essential job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Handles various other duties as delegated.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology from four-year college or university or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 4-8 years’ experience Business, Systems and/or Application Analysis.
  • Knowledge and experience in software development methodologies including UML, Agile, Waterfall.
  • Knowledge and experience in technology business process development.
  • Experience in Business analysis.
  • Experience with Contract Management, Document Management, and/or Enterprise Resource Planning platforms.
  • Experience in configuring and/or supporting Legal, Human Resources, and Security systems.
  • Experience in supporting Public Could and SAAS technologies.
  • Experience with reporting platforms and security processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, planning, analysis and organizational skills.
  • Strong business/application analysis skills.
  • Must be able to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Must be able to use discretion and independent judgement.
  • Must be able to implement process improvement changes with leadership direction.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Must be able to pay close attention to details.
  • Must be able to adapt and be flexible to a changing environment.
  • Must be able to lift/carry 20 pounds waist height.
  • May work evenings and weekends.
  • May require occassional travel.
