ResponsibilitiesTrain all new hires and temporary associates in the proper procedures for all positions in the Distribution Center to ensure order/inventory accuracy standards are met and maintained.Assist with the Auditing of associates’ progress on a regular basis.  Document findings and provide feedback to the area Coach regarding concerns.Provide input to shift Coach regarding performance on new hires for purposes of determining the retention of the full time and/or temporary associates’ employment.Conduct evaluation and provide documentation of all forklift drivers’ capabilities in the areas of performance and safety habits as required by OSHA.  Recertify every 3 years.Responsible for the training/retraining/recertification of forklift drivers.Obtain certification in all hourly production positions in the Distribution Center.Required to stay current on all changes in processes regarding production jobs.Assist with the creation, updating of all training documentation (SOP). Assist in the auditing of  SOP documentation annually or as process improvements are made.Participate in facility Kaizen/5S events.Assist in the bi-monthly 5S audits of all qualified areas in the facility Support all facility programs such as Quality Audit, PFP, IQ Club, Housekeeping and Hazard Hunter.Support facility metrics such as Inventory Accuracy, Order Accuracy and CPH.  Take action to sustain company goals.Required to work flexible schedule when training associates across shifts.Communicate associate concerns and suggestions to Management.  Encourage associates to be engaged in the operation of the facility.Perform all duties and maintain all standards in accordance with company policy and procedures.Perform all duties as assigned by your supervisor. QualificationsHigh School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) and one to two years related experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of management, as well as associatesAbility to prioritize and achieve objectives in a fast-paced environment.High degree of credibilityDemonstrated success handling multiple priorities and multi-taskingProficient in Microsoft Office functions such as word, excel and outlookUtilize available time to organize and complete work within given deadlinesAbility to influence others to perform  their jobs effectively and to be responsible for making decisionsAbility to use thinking and reasoning to problem solveForklift Certified Trainer, Harness Training and First Aid/CPR (Preferred but not required)
