The Cook I is responsible for preparing and presenting menu items with consistency, efficiency, and attention to detail while upholding the high culinary standards synonymous with the Wynn brand. This position plays an important role in delivering exceptional quality and service by supporting daily kitchen operations and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.Job ResponsibilitiesPrepare and finish food items across all kitchen stations in accordance with established recipes, preparation methods, and presentation standards.Maintain exceptional quality, consistency, and portion control throughout all meal periods.Apply proficient knife skills to support food preparation and station readiness.Ensure all food products are properly labeled, dated, stored, and rotated in accordance with company standards and Health Department regulations.Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of work areas, equipment, walk-ins, and storage areas at all times.Complete station breakdown and closing responsibilities, including returning products to appropriate storage areas, rotating inventory, wrapping, labeling, dating, and organizing all items.Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to management to prevent product shortages.Apply proficient knife skills to support food preparation and station readiness.Ensure all food products are properly labeled, dated, stored, and rotated in accordance with company standards and Health Department regulations.Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of work areas, equipment, walk-ins, and storage areas at all times.Complete station breakdown and closing responsibilities, including returning products to appropriate storage areas, rotating inventory, wrapping, labeling, dating, and organizing all items.Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to management to prevent product shortages.
