Food Runner - Encore Resort Brunch

The Encore Resort Brunch Food Runner is responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of food from the kitchen to guests in a vibrant resort brunch setting at Wynn Las Vegas. This role supports front-of-house service by ensuring orders are delivered efficiently, tables are properly maintained, and communication between the kitchen and service team is seamless.The Food Runner plays a key role in maintaining service speed, ensuring food quality and presentation, and contributing to a seamless and enjoyable guest experience during high-volume brunch periods. Key Responsibilities Food Delivery & Service SupportDeliver food from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately while maintaining proper brunch service pacingEnsure proper handling and presentation of food items during deliveryAssist servers in maintaining table satisfaction by supporting food delivery needsFollow proper service timing to avoid delays and ensure guest satisfaction  Order Accuracy & CommunicationVerify orders for accuracy before delivering to guestsCommunicate proactively with kitchen staff and servers regarding order statusRelay guest needs or issues to the appropriate team members in real timeAssist with coordination of multiple orders during peak service periods  Guest InteractionDeliver food with a friendly, professional, and approachable demeanorProvide basic descriptions of menu items when delivering foodRespond to simple guest requests or direct them to the appropriate team memberMaintain a positive and energetic presence throughout shifts  Operational EfficiencyAssist with stocking and maintaining service stations (plates, utensils, napkins, etc.)Support opening, side work, and closing duties as assignedMaintain organization of the kitchen pass/expo areaEnsure readiness of service equipment and materials during shifts  Dining Room AwarenessMaintain awareness of table status and dining flow to anticipate service needsAssist bussers and servers with table maintenance when neededSupport overall team operations to ensure smooth and efficient service Compliance & Brand StandardsAdhere to all Wynn grooming, uniform, and presentation standardsFollow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelinesExecute all duties in accordance with Wynn policies and departmental standards
