It is the primary responsibility of the Slot Shift Manager to assist in overseeing the day-to-day operation and performance of the department including staffing, compliance, training, projects and guest service. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures.Specific Job Functions:
Assist in managing the daily operations and departmental performance consistent with the strategic plan and vision of the property
Assist management with implementing guest service programs to employees consistent with the company and property’s core service standards
Provide input into research, development, evaluation and implementation of new services, products, and technology to ensure department’s competitive position in the gaming industry
Ensure compliance with local Gaming, departmental, company policies and procedures are followed by employees
Delegate projects and tasks to subordinates consistent with departmental and company policies
Manage and control employees staffing levels
Provide instruction, training, and implementation of departmental and company programs to employees
Organize and complete assigned projects and tasks with attention to detail within the established deadline
Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department
Must have, or be able to obtain, Gaming Registration
At least five years previous experience in Slot Operations management/supervisory required
A minimum of three years previous high-volume / high-end guest service experience required
Intermediate knowledge of player tracking and marketing systems preferably Players Club, Customer Management System (CMS), or equivalent
Previous money handling experience preferred
Must be team oriented with excellent organizational
Professional appearance and demeanor a must
