Job Summary :
We are looking for a determined and energetic Telemarketer to help us grow our business. The Telemarketer will make outbound calls to potential employees, sharing information about the company and opportunities to work with us.
The goal of the Telemarketer is to cultivate new Loan Officer candidates for our company by answering their questions and providing excellent customer service.
The Telemarketer is a self-starter who can maintain a professional demeanor while speaking to candidates with various backgrounds and experiences.
Responsibilities :
Make outbound calls to potential Loan Officer candidates.
Share information about our company, products, and services by following sales scripts
Answering potential candidates’ questions and follow-up call questions
Record calls through a computerized system
Follow and carry out customized targeted sales plans
Meet quotas for cold, active, and inactive calls
Provide status update reports to the Business Development team
Build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent required
One to two years telemarketing or customer service experience required
Energetic, professional, and friendly demeanor
Excellent communication skills
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Bilingual / Spanish preferred
Timely communication and response times according to department standards
Physical / Sensory Requirements :
Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time
Bend, stoop and stretch as needed
Prolonged periods of sitting, standing and or ambulating (Employee has some control over the length of time)
Prolonged use of computers, telephone, and other standard office equipment which includes reading, writing, listening or speaking
Fluency in English language (written, oral, spoken); fluency in a second language desirable
