Position Title: Licensed Showing Assistant
Position Type: Hourly Position – Entry Level
Compensation: $17.50 to $19.50 per hour (Commensurate with experience)

Position Description
The Showing Assistant will be an individual who is highly sociable, draws energy from working with people, and is optimistic and outgoing. They have a compelling desire to support the Director of Sales, Sales Agents, and Broker in achieving team success, while being committed to growing their own skills and to developing into a leader within the team.
The Showing Assistant will have a real estate license in order to meet NRED criteria for the duties in this role. Additionally, they may be eager to earn the right to use their license as a Sales Agent. They are forward-looking individuals who develop and maintain positive professional relationships. They have a track record of success, and a palpable desire to succeed in this role, as well as their next.
Standards of Performance
Show homes listed for sale by RJC to prospective home buyers/renters and their agents following the guidelines adopted by the company
Show homes to prospective home buyer leads and/or clients procured by RJC
Drive with or alongside RJC buyer clients to provide access to and view homes
Schedule showings of homes with buyer clients, listing agents, and/or home sellers
Refine buyers’ criteria and select additional homes to show as necessary
Schedule and attend on-site property inspections with clients and vendors
Provide access to homes under contract as needed for inspections, appraisals, walkthroughs, etc.
Promptly return all buyer client telephone calls, texts, and/or emails
Gather and answer buyer questions about potential homes and local community information
Regularly assure buyer clients that the Sales Agent, Director of Sales, and/or Broker is involved & informed – Promote the team concept.
Keep the Sales Agent, Director of Sales, and/or Broker informed on all client communications and developments (copied on all emails and update notes in Zoho)
Assist with Open Houses
Clerical duties such as document and/or payment deliveries to the appropriate party
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Showing RJC listings to prospective buyers
Accompanying buyer clients to homes that meet their criteria
Working with buyer clients to refine their needs and wants based on seeing homes
Finding homes that meet buyer clients’ criteria
Growth and Development Training
The Showing Assistant will be responsible for developing the following skills by shadowing the Sales Agent or Director of Sales, in addition to attending all office training related to these duties. Once the Showing Assistant has demonstrated the ability to perform these tasks proficiently without assistance and has met all production standards, the Showing Assistant will become eligible for the Sales Agent role.
Attend all office training, roleplay, and script practice for working with buyer clients
Utilize and update Zoho daily and accurately
Follow up with and convert buyer leads assigned to them from RJC marketing efforts such as Zillow, RJC website, Rob’s Report, targeted ads on social media, etc.
Develop expert knowledge regarding active inventory, sales comparables, new construction, neighborhoods, and amenities.
Convert buyer leads to buyer consultation appointments
Conduct buyer consultation appointments
Obtain buyer client signatures on Buyer Brokerage Agreements
Ensure that buyer clients are pre-qualified for a home purchase
Prospect for buyer leads
Overcome buyer objections
Write offers to purchase homes for buyer clients
Effectively negotiate, or oversee negotiations, for buyer clients
Ensure that the real estate transaction is brought to fruition successfully from initial contact through contract through close.
