We are currently looking for Store Sales Associates - full time or part time for our Craig and Losee location.
General Function Essential Responsibilities (other duties as assigned)
Customer Service / Sales
Greet customers, determine needs and answer questions
Suggest sell add-on items, participate in retail store and commercial sales activities in order to achieve sales and profit goals
Ask questions to identify potential commercial customers
Operate computer/cash register to complete sales transactions with accuracy
Answer phones, ensuring messages are relayed
Assist in achieving retail and commercial sales initiatives
Watch for loss prevention issues and advise management of any unusual activities
Function as a team player doing whatever is necessary to help attain company goals
Demonstrate a customer-first mentality
Provide store tours to introduce other products/services to customers
Must achieve selling expectations measured by lines per ticket and upselling metrics
Salary and Commissions based on experience
Technical Skills
Ability to calculate simple math, percentages and ratios
Ability to read and correctly interpret a ruler
Install automotive batteries, perform tests and tech work
Strong technical aptitude; a basic understanding of electronics including the ability to accurately read gauges and work with hands
Working knowledge of basic mechanical and electronic tools.
Able to recognize and understand the proper use of tools such as pliers, screw drivers, ratchets, sockets, etc
Ability to learn and repair electronic devices such as cellphones, tablets, etc
Merchandising / Inventory
Assist in all store operations responsibilities as assigned by Store Manager or Assistant Manager
Rotate and stock inventory
Load, unload, and deliver or arrange delivery of product to customers or via third party delivery companies
Organize daily recovery of displays to achieve full store appearance
Maintain retail shelf label pricing
Build displays; setting up & taking down shelves and fixtures
Prepare store for daily opening and closing including counting and reconciling register drawers
Maintain physical facility safety and appearance including: sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Maintain restroom cleanliness
Follow all safety rules and regulations; wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

The physical demands required to perform the essential responsibilities of this position are as follows. Reasonable accommodations, if necessary and/or as required by law, will be made available.
This position requires the employee to regularly stand, walk and use hands to handle or touch; frequently talk, hear, occasionally sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach above shoulders, and lift 50 pounds.
The position requires the employee to regularly use electrical cables, simple hand tools, a magnifying glass, spot welders, automotive and electronic testing equipment, as well as regular use of a phone, fax, computer, and printer/copier.
Must be able and willing to drive company utility vehicle.
Must be able to install vehicle batteries in cold, hot or occasional inclement weather.
Stores are open 8am to 8pm six days a week and 10am to 5pm Sunday. Some accommodations can be made but a candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business including peak seasons, holidays and special events. This includes the ability to work at multiple store locations, as needed.
Local travel by company and/or (rarely) personal vehicle.
