Anderson Dairy Inc is a long standing company in the Las Vegas Community. We are looking for a Diesel Mechanic to join our Anderson family! You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of commercial fleet trucks, tractors and refrigerated trailers and dry trailers.
Responsibilities:
Major & minor repairs on Thermo King and Carrier transport refrigeration units
Preventative maintenance and quality repairs on Diesel trucks, trailers & reefers and tankers
Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
General truck & trailer repairs including but not limited to differential, brakes, suspension, steering, tire replacement, lights, hoses, belts, batteries and electrical.
Complete all paperwork accurately including repair information on work order.
Qualifications:
3 year experience
Refrigeration experience a plus
Must have own tools and reliable transportation.
Must be a team player and work well with other Mechanics
Knowledge of shop equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Detail oriented person needed with problem solving attitude
Must be able to work flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and rotating on call shifts
Able to work in uncontrolled outside environment
