Job Description
Maintain positive, strong relationships with customers and suppliers (Airline carriers, trucking companies and others involved)
Ability to read client specific operating procedures and successfully execute upon them
Ensure accurate and timely client billing
Assist in resolving accounting issues
Understand the department process flow to ensure smooth, accurate and timely freight process flow
Data entry using Expeditors proprietary programs and systems
Create accurate and timely documents for shipping purposes (Import/Export/Customs)
Document scanning
Meet compliance at all times by following internal and external regulations that are in accordance with government regulations
Track and Trace as needed
Continually look for best practices and ways to improve operational efficiency and productivity
Other departmental duties as needed
Continuous learning and professional development
Qualifications
Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results
Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Must Type 45WPM+
10-key by touch a plus
Functions efficiently in a high stress environment
Genuine curiosity about Logistics and Supply Chain Management
Willing to work overtime
Willing to learn, grow and prosper in a strong company culture
