The Pub at Donner Lake is hiring Dishwasher & Utility staff to join our team! Support Staff assist with the daily functionality and operation of the front and back of house while maintaining focus on their perspective role. We believe in the concept of ONE Kitchen, ONE Restaurant. Be it washing & utility, or bussing & running food. The successful candidates will play a KEY role in contributing to our Brand and guest satisfaction. Also, while striving to reach personal and company goals.
The dishwasher & general utility position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for dinnerware, glassware, cooking utensils, etc., using machine as well manual cleaning methods. This position also ensures the dish washing area is maintained as a clean, safe and sanitary working space. Dishwasher must be safety conscious and in compliance of all laws concerning the safety of others.
This position requires a friendly, highly self-motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision.
Skills & Requirements:
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks safely.
Be familiar with the industrys best practices.
The willingness and ability to cross-trainĀ and work in multiple positions.
Multitasking skills and the ability to respond through situations as they arise is crucial.
The physical ability to perform the physical demands of the position include remaining on your feet for several hours at a time, the ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds, withstand high temperature conditions with a smile. Bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the shift.
An eagerness to advance within our team and within our industry.
A willingness to work overtime as needed.
The ability to communicate in English is necessary to converse with other team members and Management.
Be able to think on your feet and respond as needed.
Must be 16 years of age or older and have a valid state issued drivers license.
