Seasonal Sales Associate-Local Farm
Local Farm, in Dayton NV, seeks qualified talented seasonal sales associate to help sell farms vegetable produce, free range eggs & tilapia. This position is full time, seasonal. Season will end in November.
Job responsibilities include:
Harvesting
Washing & packing produce
Organizing inventory of goods ready for sale
Selling direct to consumer via farmers markets & farm stands
Aiding senior sales rep in capturing business to business restaurant/grocer sales
Delivering produce & fish to b2b buyers
Utilizing sales software to effectively maximize sales volumes
Engaging with both retail & business consumers to build loyal brand following
Participate in weekly sales strategy meetings
Applicants must be capable of the following:
Lift 30 lbs constantly
Lift 50 lbs occasionally
Lift 30 lbs overhead
Walk constantly
Stand for extended durations
Crouch or kneel for extended periods of time
Exhibit fine motor control constantly
Read & understand safety warnings & protocols
Possess good quality vision & hearing skills
Work diligently while exposed to elements including high temperature & humidity
Operate a company vehicle safely for an extended period of time
Applicable previous work experience includes front-of-house restaurant work, food booth or food truck sales, barista work. Qualified applicants must exude a generally positive attitude and demeanor when engaging both with coworkers & customers.
This position pays $11-13 per hour plus sales commission based on previous experience.
