In Home Caregiver In South Reno
$11.50/hr
Full-Time Overnight 4pm-7am 60hrs Mon-thur
Part-Time Day shift 7am-4pm 18hrs Sat-Sun
Looking for Part-Time and Full-Time In Home Caregivers who are patient, compassionate, attentive and dependable to care for elderly women with dementia. Training will be provided. Caregivers have the option to use the provided vehicle for outings with the client. Caregivers are provided food to prepare for both the Caregiver and client.
Full-Time Overnight: Caregiver will stay overnight Monday through Thursday 4pm to 7am with a 9 hour break between each shift. 60 hours a week. Caregivers will be responsible for ensuring client safety and providing personal care in accordance with the Client’s Care Plan. The client will need assistance with her colostomy bag from time to time. Cooking dinner, cleaning, activities and charting daily events in the Caregiver’s log book are the main job duties. The client enjoys activities such as going on walks or drives, gardening, baking, watching TV, board games and puzzles among other things. Overnight weekday Caregivers will be responsible for making sure the bedding is clean at the end of the week for the weekend Caregivers and vice versa.
Part-Time Day Shift: Caregiver will work Days starting at 7am and ending at 4pm Saturday and Sunday. 18 hours a week. Caregivers will be responsible for ensuring client safety and providing personal care in accordance with the Client’s Care Plan. The client will need assistance with her colostomy bag from time to time. Serving breakfast and lunch, cleaning, activities and charting daily events in the Caregiver’s log book are the main job duties. The client enjoys activities such as going on walks or drives, gardening, baking, watching TV, board games and puzzles among other things.
Job Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must Speak English
Must have Valid Drivers License
Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
Experience with Dementia is a plus but not required.
Experience with Caregiving is a plus but not required.
Experience with a Colostomy bag is a plus but not required. (Will train)
